Welcome to the official site of Kano State Television Corporation, a State owned television broadcast outfit owned and operated by the Kano State Government of Nigeria. The importance of any media set-up, in a civilized or democratic dispensation be it Radio, Television or even print cannot be overemphasized, especially because of its traditional role of informing, educating, entertaining, and mobilizing the general public towards a specific understanding.
It is with this perception and the clear resolve of the present administration in Kano state headed by Malam Ibrahim Shekarau to move the state forward by committing themselves to doing only the right things, as the custodians of the people’s mandate. We pledged to commit all our efforts in upholding the same ethics.
The corporation has a total number of 133 staff, assisted by some members of the NYSC, casual staff, and a large number of Artistes who participate in various Programmes. The corporation is divided in to three different departments, namely Television directorate, Engineering Services, and Admin & general services, each headed by a director.
